Our Lenten calendar refects the activities going on in our parish during the season of Lent.
Cancer Support Group
Please join us for the Cancer Support Group meeting, Thursday, April 16 from 7:15 to 8:15 pm in the Parish Life Center. The group is open to Resurrection community adults, 18 and older, living with cancer and their support person. We will begin to address the everyday issues of living with cancer, resources, and coping strategies in a caring environment. Soup and Bread
Wednesdays during Lent beginning February 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Amadeo Room. For more information, see "Building Bridges in Our Community."
April Pancake Breakfast
A big thank you to the Knights of Columbus and our parisihioners for all their support of our pancake breakfast on March 15th! The youth will host another Pancake Breakfast on Sunday April 26 after the 7:30am, 9am and 10:30am masses to raise funds to support the Mission Trip to Alaska. We will sell tickets the weekend before, April 18 & 19, after the 5 pm, 7:30 am, 9 am & 10:30 am masses. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Sunday April 19 - Frank Runyeon presents "Salt-n-Light" and "Hollywood vs Faith".
Frank Runyeon, Translator and Performer of Biblical Texts will be at Resurrection Church on Sunday, April 19, in the Amadeo Room. The performance at 10:30am is "Salt-n-Light" for children in grades K-4. "Hollywood-vs-Faith" will be presented for youth in grade 5-HS at 11:30am. 2015 Jubilarian Celebration
Donald Cardinal Wuerl will celebrate the annual Jubilarian Mass honoring couples married 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50+ years (and celebrating this anniversary during 2015) on Sunday, June 21, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. 2014 Winterfest Event - Silent Auction
Please see the list of businesses that donated to our Silent Auction. We are also looking for people who can work on the Silent Auction Committee for our 2015 Winterfest.
The first Sunday of each month after both the 9:00am mass and 10:30am mass is Community Sunday. Please join us in the Amadeo room for fellowship and complimentary coffee and doughnuts. The event is hosted by rotating parish committees and groups. Sunday, May 3rd will be hosted by the Environmental Committee.
We are happy to welcome all new members to our parish community. Your registration is important to us. In order to participate in the Sacraments of Baptism, Matrimony, and be granted a letter of eligibility for sponsorship at Baptism and Confirmation, it is necessary that you be registered at the Church of the Resurrection. You may download the registration form from out website or registration packets are available in the Commons Area of the Church or in the Parish Offices located in the Parish Life Center.
