Bridge Club

Resurrection Parish has an active Bridge Club which meets and plays regularly.

Leisure Club

The Leisure Club is for all parishioners over the age of 55yrs. It provides a forum to meet for both spiritual and social activities. Events, which usually include Mass, are held monthly. A committee of members plan the events and shares responsibility for organizing them.

Mother’s Group

All parish moms are invited to join the Mother’s Group. The group provides support and community for mothers of infants to adolescents. We focus on the physical, emotional, and spiritual development of our children and families. The group meets the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, September through June, from 9:45AM until 11:30AM in the Amadeo Room. On the second Tuesday of the month we have a guest speaker discuss topics of interest including the Catholic faith, parenting, health and wellness, and family life. On the fourth Tuesday of the month we have a Book Discussion of Field Trip to a site of interest. Child care is provided free of charge.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal organization of Catholic men who join together in fraternal, family, religious, charitable, community and youth activities. The Bishop Lyons Council meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month and operates within five major areas: community service, service to the church, youth activities, family events, and council events. In addition to involvement in the life of the parish, members of the Knights participate in the annual Tootsie Roll campaign to benefit those who are mentally disabled. They are also involved in the local community, participating in Burtonsville Day and the Adopt-a-Road Program.
