General Statement: The goal of the Faith Formation Program at the Church of the Resurrection is to form persons to Christ, that is to bring all those involved in the various dimensions of Program to an age appropriate understanding and experience of Christ as the center and well-spring of God’s eternal plan for them and for the whole of creation. This task is approached through age appropriate understandings of the meaning of Christ’s words, actions, and signs. In this respect, the aim of catechesis is more than intellectual assent to doctrinal precepts. It is to help people to grow in communion with Jesus Christ - through Whom they may enter into and enjoy a share of the life and love of the Holy Trinity.
