Mission Statement:

Resurrection Preschool is operated by Resurrection Catholic Church under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Washington DC. The school is open to all although it was founded to provide a preschool experience to parish children. The preschool strives to promote and develop the Catholic faith, in addition to teaching basic, age-appropriate learning skills.

Goals:

· To foster the child’s understanding of God’s presence in the world and to help the child grow in love for our heavenly Father and his Son, Jesus.

· To acquaint the child with a school setting and routine by offering a safe, pleasant, and loving environment that promotes a positive attitude toward the learning experience.

· To provide the child with the opportunity to make friends and to practice skills such as listening, sharing, and cooperative play.

Programs

Classes are available for three year olds and four year olds. The three year old program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays with the option of morning or afternoon sessions. The four year old program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with the option of half or full day classes.
